

OUR BACKGROUND
E and S Cuisine is owned and operated by Modu Thomas, a native of Liberia and longtime chef of authentic West African dishes. Modu also prepares delicious Louisiana soul food and American menu items.
We are a full-service catering company serving small groups to large groups. Common events for us include birthdays and celebrations, weddings, family reunions, on site grilling, repass / funerals,
holiday parties, school and workplace events / meals.
Modu's cooking skills & dishes come from the foods he grew up eating. Food is central to who Liberians are as a people & an essential aspect of the happiest times together. Family pictures will show Modu & his family always in the kitchen cooking! Family is what it is all about, & Modu's daughter, Stacey Thomas, has studied & learned from her dad since childhood & now cooks beside him.
